YOUTH AMBASSADORS FOR

SOUTH-SOUTH COOPERATION–PROMOTING CULTURAL DIPLOMACY

This network has for its purpose to link young cultural and social activists in the Americas, Asia, Arab World and Africa to strengthen peace and support sustainable development goals amongst countries of global south and in some developing countries in northern hemisphere.

It represents a contribution to Resiliart and cultural diplomacy programmes of UNESCO.

What is it SSCC

The South-South Cooperation Council (SSCC) is a network created by individuals and institutions from the southern hemisphere to serve as a platform for informal diplomacy that will open up scenarios for multilateral dialogue and lead to the strengthening of world peace.

Represents a contribution to UNESCO's Cultural Diplomacy and Resilience through Art programs.

Objective

The main objective of SSCC is to promote, facilitate and catalyze the exchange of experiences, knowledge and practices developed by civil society, academic institutions and inter and transdisciplinary centers of the southern hemisphere, which contribute to publicize good practices and replicate them whenever possible.
